Renovation and Renewal

Renovation and Renewal

During the summer months, many of us use this time for renovation and renewal of our living spaces, outdoor spaces, and our mental places as well. It is a time to take vacations to places we haven’t been before or just visit our favorite spots around the county. After all, Lafayette has a lot to offer in regards to swimming, boating, camping, and fishing. We have the Suwannee River and several cold springs we can enjoy. The crops should be about all harvested and it’s too early for the Fall ones. The kids are out of school and are hoping for a little fun this year.

As for us here at the Town of Mayo Happenings website we are slowly but surely updating all of the pages with new listings and new pictures for everyone to enjoy. If you would like to add your business to the directory just Direct Message me on our Facebook Page. We get entirely too many spam emails these days and haven’t figure out a cost-effective way to get rid of them. Please remember we are not members of the Facebook Group – Lafayette Activities nor are we affiliated with any city or county government office. This is an informational and entertainment blog site only. (Well, for now anyway)

To keep this website going and pay all the fees associated with the domain and hosting we have created a Print on Demand (POD) store that features our custom designs on T-Shirts, mugs, totes, etc. The designs are just for fun and we hope will raise awareness of the county and the many opportunities for small businesses and families too. We did spend the day in town this past week taking these new pictures and had lunch at the Hornet Cafe. Yummy sandwiches. We wish the family lots of luck over the coming months.
