Miracle Whip versus Mayo

by jolenemac78 August 31, 2018 No Comments

The eternal debate continues and our town is now part of the myth, legends or should I say historical debate of which is better, mayo or miracle whip? Personally, I like regular old mayonnaise on my sandwiches and in my salads but I guess I can see the appeal for something tangy to add to some of our tried and true recipes. However, I don’t think changing the name of the town to Miracle Whip forever will stand. It’s a good thing this was done all in fun. And please people, just think of it as all in fun.

The people who came to Veteran’s park were treated to a nice lunch and some free stuff. From the live video on Facebook the who thing was treated as really happening with the company or county offering to pay for changes to peoples business names, addresses, licenses, etc. Now, that would run into the thousands of dollars. A few people in the audience reacted badly to the news as you can see if you watch the entire video but for the most part the participants took it in stride and had fun.
