Lots Happening in Lafayette County

by jolenemac78 July 22, 2020 No Comments

The last couple of months have really taken a toll on all of us even here in the little North Florida County of Lafayette. We all do what we do but, hopefully, we are keeping our families and ourselves as safe as we possibly can. Remember wearing those facemasks around people doesn’t mean you are sick or that you think they are it is just a precaution much like seatbelts in a car. Whether you wear one or not at least try to stay 6 feet from those not living with you. A friendly smile is almost as good as a hug.

We have had several emails lately that we hope someone in our reading public can answer:

In May:

Alexis

Subject: Veterans Memorial Park

Comment: I was wondering if you have an estimated date on when the swings off of SW County Road 300 will be open for use. There’s been yellow caution tape on them since the park closed due to the pandemic. It still remains on 2 of 6 swings.

Subject Pioneer day in Oct

Hi Everybody, Please send a craft application form to me in my email I’m hoping everybody is ok. Thanks so much. Sharon Spradlin Doggie Dudzz

.

In July

Name: Laura Bollmann
Email: lbollmann@scalarinc.net
Subject: Britt Creek Bridge Replacement

Comment: Please call me concerning Britt Creek Bridge. Our firm Scalar Consulting Group has some questions regarding the bridge replacement and community.
