Time to Update Everything

Time to Update Everything

It is time to update everything. As we get closer to the dreading April Tax filing date most of us are trying to find all of our receipts, invoices, W-9s, and 1099s so that we can file our federal income tax. Thankfully Florida does not have its own income tax so that is one less headache to contend with. We do have to keep our business records straight even if we have closed our doors due to this dang pandemic.

Special Offer For Local Businesses

If you are just starting out in business within Lafayette County Florida please get in touch with our editor so we can do a FREE feature article and short commercial for your business. Just send your request using our CONTACT US form and the editor will get in touch as soon as possible. This offer applies to those businesses listed on our Business Directory page as well. Why not take advantage of some FREE publicity?

We will be cruising around the county over the next week or so taking fresh pictures from all over to add to our website. We would like to add a FAQ section for all the questions we have been getting over the years too. Anyone employed by the county who would like to share information about their department and perhaps add any public forms please get in touch using our email editor at townofmayo dot org Whether you are employed by the Town of Mayo or Lafayette County our readers are always asking about correct contact information, forms online so they can just download them, fill them out and email them back, email address for ALL public official and offices would be great as well.

Changes to the website

Now that we have the Riverbend News we will be taking down the For Sale pages and the Intern page as well. This site is going to be strictly informational for and about Lafayette County. Sadly, the Chamber of Commerce website that we found recently has been purchased by some Asian company and has posts about a service called CottonOn????. The Facebook page hasn’t been updated since 2017??? IF ANYONE has any updated web addresses for the local Chamber of Commerce and it’s doings to help local businesses please let us know.

Hey, please wear your masks, keep your social distancing and wash your hands well and regularly!

You might as well make yourself one or buy one from your favorite sports team or TV Show. They are out there and we can have fun with it while we are being safe too!
