Holidays and Business Promotions for some of our local small businesses. We hope everyone will spend some time in our local businesses during the holiday seasons. Anything from shopping at our local grocery store, eating out in one of the restaurants and buying some trinkets for your loved ones from one of our shops. We would also like our of our friends and family to promote these businesses that have an online presence and/or social media account page that we can “like”, “share”, and “follow” in the coming year. We have noticed that quite a few of the Mayo small businesses have been posting more on their social media pages, updating their websites with a new look and some have even gotten new social media pages and/or websites.
We have gone through each of our Business Directory listings and deleted the ones we know that are no longer operating and updating their listings with their corresponding website address and/or Facebook page. Having an online presence is essential in this day and age and a fairly inexpensive way to promote your business. More and more people have cellphones and use them to find businesses and services. If you don’t have at least one of these you are doing your business a disservice. Below is a listing of some of these we are featuring this month. If we missed some please use our CONTACT US form and let us know and we will be happy to add them. We have also “Liked”, “Shared” and “Followed” as many as we could over the last two weeks.
