Spring Cleaning and Other Things

by jolenemac78 February 15, 2018 No Comments

Here in Florida, we can get an early start to our Spring Cleaning efforts as our weather (hopefully this year too) will turn warmer sooner than the rest of the country. It’s nice to be able to put freshly washed sheets, curtains, pillows, and other bedding out in the sun to bake out the winter doldrums and bring in the new spring breezes. It is a great time to go through everybody’s closet and drawers to donate things we no longer wear and someone else can use. You might as well go through your kitchen cabinets and get rid of or donate you old can goods, pots, pans, and dishes you haven’t used all year. If you’re like me you tell yourself that you are saving those things for whatever project or new dish you want to create sometime soon. Well, if you haven’t done it in over a year it’s time to let someone else have them. You can donation bins in various locations around the county.

We are updating our Business in Mayo pages and the Community Calendar for the coming spring and summer events. If you have something you would like to add to calendar or a business located within Lafayette County that isn’t listed please use our CONTACT US form and tell us about it.
