The Annual Daddy Daughter Dance

sponsored and held at the Alton Church is February 2, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm. Tickets are $20/couple and just $5 per additional child. Come enjoy, get dressed up and treat your best girl to a fun time.

The library is continuing the “Healthy Hornets” Program on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 to 5:00pm for ages 6 to 14. Learn how to create healthy meals, get help with homework and just have a little fun.

The Suwannee River Rendezvous Campground and Resort has their weekly Saturday Pigeon Races (4pm) and Chicken Poo Bingo (6:15pm)participate and enjoy and perhaps win a little money to boot! They continue the fun at 7 with Karoke and Trivia.

Finally, and more than likely not last, we hope everyone will go on down to the local library beginning in February to collect your seeds to start or continue your very own kitchen gardens. Being able to grow your own food anywhere is an extremely handy skill to learn especially for those of us who don’t own oodles of land or are even capable of gardening. To that end we hope you will check out the collection of books about container gardening and gardening in small spaces we have collected for you below.
