Summertime Means More Library Time

Summertime Means More Library Time

Summertime Means More Library Time – we hope you are keeping cool during these hot and muggy days this summer. It is a great time to spend a few hours at our library. Three Rivers Library systems supports the Lafayette County Florida Library. They have a very active summer time program for kids and adults alike. Not only do you have reading challenges, a local writers group that meets weekly, and some great services for their patrons.

Have you tried the new recording booth?

Sound Booth in Library
The Mayo Library received some grant money and purchased an enclosed booth that the patrons can use to begin a career in podcasting, voice over acting (audio narrating) or video conferencing as well.

Old Train

Old Train to the first person to come get it
Hey, if the train display is still in the children’s section of the library the matron said she would gladly give it over to anyone who has a truck and will come pick it up. It would make a great addition to someone’s yard display, a plant holder or even (with a little adjustment) a great outdoor kid’s playhouse type deal.
