Mayo Becoming Restaurant Central

Mayo Becoming Restaurant Central

If you gotta be known for something it might as well be for good eats. That’s right Mayo is becoming known as Restaurant Central on the road between Gainesville and Perry. No offense to Ft. White and Branford but as of today I have counted 8 different places to eat either on U.S. 27 or within a block or two of it. Let’s name them and if I forgot one please let me know in the comments below.

There are one or two other places to eat within the county but we will get to them next time. For now, with the Drummond Bank being bought out and that company closing the branch in Mayo (Which is a very new building I might add), there is an opportunity for an Italian or Seafood restaurant to open up. It has great parking, right next to the highway, it has drive-thru already set up and even has room to add in a Semi-Truck lane for parking or picking up. There is lots of traffic rolling through town on a daily basis but the parking situation is not very good along main street. Something to think about.

If you have a business within the county limits and would like to be featured on our blog, please use my CONTACT form and let me know. I would be happy to accept your pictures and a short video about you and your business to share on all of my social media pages and this site.
