If you have an upcoming event at your church, club, school or business and would like to share it with us, please use the CONTACT US form and send us the details. We are creating a community calendar and could use more information to share with friends, family, visitors and all the local residents. We can post pictures and flyers to the website for you.

Take a look around at the pages we have. We have been working hard to get this website up and running to be a great resource for local businesses, residents and future visitors. There are lots of pictures and information about Lafayette County Florida posted here for you to use and enjoy.

We are still looking for Student Intern Reports and Guest Bloggers who live in Lafayette County Florida. These are non-paid volunteer positions but if you love to write, have access to the internet and a digital camera then WE NEED YOU! Check out our Student Intern page for complete information as well as the downloadable application.

Tell all your friends and family about the website, our facebook page and our twitter page. We want to move Lafayette County Florida into the 21st century and attract more businesses and visitors to the area.

We also want to highlight ALL OF THE FARMS and Farmers who live and work in the area. After all, without the farmers how would be get enough food to eat! We need pictures of your farm, what you grow, and/or what animals your breed. Are you an organic farm? Do you breed special kinds of animals? Are you a beekeeper and if so what kind of honey do you produce? Who do you sell to (food production business, government, locals)? If you raise sheep do you just sell them for the meat or shear them for the wool? Do you produce your own yarn? What do you and your family do for fun? How many generations of your family have lived and worked here? What do you think this county needs the most? What is the hardest thing about being a farmer and/or rancher? What is the best thing about being a farmer and/or rancher?

All these questions and more we would like to have answered. We want to highlight local businesses in future articles as well. If you want to participate you just need to contact us. There is no charge for this service and Who Knows? it might even get you some new customers!
